Disclosure Scotland is currently a service provided by Scottish Ministers to manage and operate the Disclosure service in Scotland as provided for in Part V of the Police Act 1997.
The core function of the NMC is to establish standards of education, training, conduct and performance for nursing and midwifery and to ensure those standards are maintained, thereby safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the public.
Over the next few years SSSC will register key social service workers involved in providing or delivering social work, social care services and early education and child care. They will be expected to meet agreed standards of conduct, practice, education
