New Care and Quality Manager Appointed
Our new Care and Quality Manager is a Registered Nurse with a varied clinical background - 17 years of this being within the NHS, and the last 3 years within the private sector.
Her career involved clinically working within the acute sector with the majority of this in critical care: she then progressed to a Sister's position with enhanced skills before moving into service improvement and management. Latterly she was Network Coordinator and Lead Nurse looking at areas of inequity within her critical care region and addressing these; clinical exellence and taking practice forward; as well as addressing issues around bed blocking; patient flows and experiences within the acute sector.
Within the private sector she has been working in managing and training both nurses and carers in caring for people in their own homes. She was responsible for setting up new care packages and managing these, thereby allowing clients to come out of hospital and live at home following a devestating accident or injury, including those with lifelong conditions where their condition was getting more complex and they therefore needed more support to maintain their independance.
Within Paramount Care she will be supporting the team in improving systems and practices to ensure that we can continue to grow whilst maintaining a high quality experience for our clients. She will be developing our workforce with an enhanced training programme so that we are best placed to care for our vulnerable clients and staff can progress personally within their careers at Paramount Care.
She will be used as a catalyst to growing the existing buisness and introducing more complex clients to our current profile.
