Paramount Care training

At Paramount Care we strive to continually support our staff and the general nursing community. We provide support and training courses throughout the year.

Study Days, apart from Induction training, are open to outside agencies & care facilities, including nursing homes. Please contact the office to find out corporate rates and offers for more than 10 staff attending training days.

HEALTH & SAFETY*  Monday 27 September 14:00 - 16:00 hrs.

MOVING AND HANDLING*  Tuesday 28 September 12:00 - 17:00 hrs.

Moving & Handling training is £10 but all other training sessions cost £5 and certificates will be issued.

* These are annual mandatory training sessions.  If you do not undertake these sessions, you will not be able to work for the Agency until you do them.

SVQ Opportunities

There are opportunities for carers to undertake SVQ2 and SVQ3 qualifications in Health and Social Science.  Paramount Care has an Assessor-in-Training who is working with Carnegie College, Dunfermline to ensure those carers who are working their way through the course work meet the required standards.  It is very important to Paramount Care that carers are working to high professional standards and SVQs are one pathway to make sure clients are being offered the highest quality of care.
